AZ Trail Race needs YOU to make these events happen!

You don’t have to be a runner or athlete to volunteer at our events. If you have simple words of encouragement and are able to help direct runners or hand out water, you are valuable to us!


New to trail running? Not sure about the course? Join Miller Endurance Coaching for the race pre-runs. All pre-runs are self supporting but we’ll have maps and goodies to help you along. current date time . So grab your trail shoes and join us.

DATE 9/24/17 – 6:00 am – Estrella Mountain – Meet at the competitive loops behind PIR.

DATE 10/29/17 – 7:00 am – San Tan  – Meet at the main parking lot at the main park entrance off Phillips Road.

DATE 12/24/17 – 8:30 am: White Tanks – meet between group campground and competitive loops

DATE 1/21/18 – 8:30 am: McDowell Mountain – Pemberton Trailhead

DATE 2/25/18 – 8:00 am:  Black Canyon – Meet at the trailhead off Warner road.  Head west off of freeways.  Go right at the frontage road.  Warner road will be your first left. This is north of Rock Springs Cafe.

Girls on the Run, serving Maricopa & Pinal Counties, is a life-changing, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to inspire girls to be healthy and confident. Using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running, the innovative program combines training for a 5k (3.1 miles) running event with interactive lessons that encourage positive emotional, social, mental and physical development. Over the past 10 years, Girls on the Run serving Maricopa and Pinal Counties has served more than 6,000 girls in 3rd – 8th grades.
