The XTERRA Arizona Trail Race Series kicks off at Estrella Mountain Park on October 2, 2011. Consisting almost entirely of single track, the 8k and 20k courses will challenge beginner and experienced trail runners alike.  The courses begin at the park's competitive loops (NOTE: not the main park entrance).

All participants will receive breakfast, a super cool race tee and finisher medal, as well as, entry into an awesome swag raffle.

2 Hawaiian airline tickets will be raffled off to those who register before July 31st.

REGISTRATION OPENS:  6:00 am

20K COURSE INFO:  Start time:  7:00 am    Route:  1 technical loop clockwise, 1 long loop counterclockwise.  6 aid stations with water, Gatorade, GU.

8K COURSE INFO:  Start time:  7:15 am Route: 1 technical loop clockwise. 2 aid stations with water, Gatorade, GU.

COURSES CLOSES:  11:00 am

We recommend that you arrive 1 hour before start of event to allow adequate time for parking, packet pickup, and warmup.

DIRECTIONS from Phoenix:  Take I-10 west. Exit Avondale Blvd and go south.   Avondale turns into S 115th Ave which curves around and becomes Indian Springs Rd.  Just past PIR turn left on Estrella Lane, which will dead end at the park entrance.  If you pass PIR completely you've missed the turn.
